Shoppi

Payment Policy

Last updated: 30 July 2026.

Accepted payment methods

We accept credit and debit cards — Visa and Mastercard (including Mastercard-branded debit cards). Payments are processed by Stripe, our payment service provider.

If your browser or device has Stripe Link saved card details, you may also pay with those saved details at checkout.

We do not currently accept PayPal, Klarna, bank transfer, cash on delivery or cryptocurrency. If a website claims to accept these on our behalf, it is not us — see Official Shoppi websites.

Card security

Card details are entered directly into Stripe's payment form and are never stored on Shoppi's servers. Stripe is certified as a PCI DSS Level 1 service provider — the highest level of certification available in the payments industry. Card payments are supported by 3-D Secure authentication (Visa Secure, Mastercard Identity Check) where your bank requires it.

Currency

Prices are shown and charged in the currency of the store you are buying from — US dollars (USD) on our US storefront, pounds sterling (GBP) in the United Kingdom, and euro (EUR) across the European Union. The currency is shown next to the price at checkout before you confirm.

If your card is issued in a different currency, your bank may apply its own conversion rate and a foreign transaction fee. That charge is set by your bank, not by Shoppi.

When you are charged

Your card is charged when you place the order and the payment is authorised — not when the item ships. You receive an order confirmation by email immediately afterwards. If an order cannot be fulfilled, the payment is refunded in full to the original card.

What appears on your statement

Card statements show SHOPPI PAY, which may appear alongside the name of the merchant fulfilling your order. Shoppi is a marketplace: the seller of each item is named on the product page and in your order confirmation.

If you do not recognise a charge, contact us at [email protected] before disputing it with your bank — we can usually identify the order straight away.

Failed and declined payments

If a payment is declined, the order is not created and no money is taken. Banks decline payments for reasons they do not share with us — insufficient funds, expired cards, fraud-prevention rules or a failed 3-D Secure check. You may see a temporary authorisation hold on your account for a declined attempt; this is not a charge and your bank releases it automatically, usually within a few working days.

Please check your card details and try again, or use a different card.

Refunds

Refunds are issued to the original payment method. Timing follows our Return & Refund Terms, which are the binding document for returns and refunds. Once we or the merchant issue a refund, how quickly it appears on your statement is determined by your bank.

Pricing errors

If an item is listed at an obviously incorrect price, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than fulfil it. We will tell you by email if this happens.

Who you are paying

The Shoppi company responsible for your market is Shoppi Inc., 1 Radisson Plaza, Suite 800, New Rochelle NY 10801, USA. Full details for all our companies are in our Legal Notice and Impressum.
